 Jay Stapp has practiced law for more than 35 years.  He received his law degree from Vanderbilt University School of Law, after graduating from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, majoring in Finance and Accounting.  After practicing with a large Nashville law firm for 8 years, Jay began a 20 year career with the Bridgestone Firestone companies as in-house counsel.  As in-house counsel, Jay faced an incredibly wide variety of legal issues.  Mergers and acquisitions, sales and marketing, distribution, intellectual property, collection, employment, contracts, real estate, litigation/arbitration management.  Virtually any issue that a business might face. 

Jay also has extensive experience resolving complex business and legal disputes and conflicts.  His ability to respectfully work with all sides in a dispute and devolop creative proposals that result in win-win solutions is unsurpassed.  He accomplishes these mediation and arbitration results by clearly understanding his clients goals, establishing trust with the other side and their advisers and suggesting creative solutions that benefit all parties.  For businesses, this means financial and time savings by avoiding costly litigation and allowing the business to focus on their main goals and objectives.

Jay and his wife, Lori have a blended family with three children.  They live in the quaint, family friendly town of Zionsville, Indiana where they are members of Traders Point Christian Church.  They are very involved with their church and other civic and charitable activities.
